Job Description

Role:
Participate in the testing of OneShield Enterprise Solution, focusing on end-user requirements, process compliance, technology, industry, and OneShield best practices and stand

Job Responsibilities
Design and execute test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
Log timely defects with precision.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop, maintain and communicate the testing metrics to the stakeholders regular
Participate in quality assurance reviews.
Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in QA.
Assist in internal process improvement initiatives.
Mentor junior quality engineers assigned to the project.

Desired Technical Skills
Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience in Web Automation Testing using Cucumber based on BDD methodology.
Knowledge of Selenium and JAVA-based automation frameworks.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
Understanding of scripting using Java, and JavaScript.
Experience with test case management (like Zephyr, TestRail) and bug tracking tools (Like JIRA, IBM ClearQuest)
Experience in Backend and API Testing will be an advantage.
Ability to author and execute backend database tests within Oracle using SQL statements will be a big plus.

Desired Business Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good logical and analytical skills.
Must be well-versed in software processes and methodologies.
Property and Casualty Insurance experience will be a big plus.

Education
A full-time Bachelors’/Masters’ Degree from a recognized university.
QA/Testing/Automation/Programming certifications.

Experience
3 to 8 years of experience in testing web-based applications.
