Primary Responsibilities:
Be able to understand and scope requirements and prepare test scenarios test conditions and test cases
Be able to understand and design Automation Framework
Develop overall test strategy test estimates and plan the testing effort and strategy required for each application project based on the development approach and timeline
Work with Project Managers and QA Management to track and report testing milestones Notify Management of project related risks associated with automated testing impacts and delays
Provide project status reports with supporting regression testing metrics on a regular basis
Assist with creating and maintaining manual and automation support documents surrounding standards policies procedures and metrics
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Testing software and web application by manual and automation (Python/powershell/Java)
Expertise on any of the industry-standard automation tools such as Selenium, Powershell, shell, REST assured, Test Complete, Coded UI, Jenkins etc.
Experience working in an Agile development environment SCRUM
Experience in Functional and Regression Integration and Smoke testing
Experience in using defect tracking tools
Experience in Software testing which includes Test case Authoring, Test Execution, Defect reporting and handling
Good amount of experience in Manual Testing and Automation Framework Designing Executing and maintaining automated test scripts using automation tools Selenium, exposure to Jenkins and Other automation environments
In depth knowledge of testing Web based applications, Familiarity with SDLC quality standards and test methodologies
Good understanding with Test/Data/process Driven framework
Understanding business requirements and convert them into Test Script
Ability to work independently & have proven history of making product lifecycle process Agile/Scrum Solution Business problems via Automation -> servers, OS, DB, Load Balancers EXCEL, SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop Hive, data lake
Comfortable with REST API's, Infrastructure platforms and Jenkins pipeline
Expert with automation tool and languages like working into Selenium, Rest assured, test complete etc
