At least 6 to 8 years of experience in various types of testing including
o experience with Azure migration testing
o Experience with Synapse testing
o Experience with ETL testing
o Experience with API testing
o Experience with Azure roles based access testing
• Experience in testing data validation scenarios and Data ingestion, pipelines, and transformation processes (e.g.,ETL).
• Demonstrated experience of working with automated testing tools.
• Demonstrated experience of automating tests across multiple platforms and technologies and understand its application throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of test case management packages.
• Demonstrated experience of hands-on Issue and Defect Management.
• Experience in testing systems that capture, verify, and maintain field generated metadata
• Familiarity with multiple back-end and front-end languages and libraries, databases, database design, web servers, web services, APIs
• Knowledge and experience with modern testing development practices and integrated testing products such as selenium, mocha and their integration with tools such as Gitlab, etc.
• Experience of Agile Software Development & Testing methods for deployment in cloud environments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Carry out Discussions with business, stakeholders to understand the requirements
• Create Azure Test Plans. Plan, execute and track scripted tests with actionable defects and end-to-end traceability.
• Designing test cases , test scenarios based on requirements and take signing off on requirements.
• Carry out various types of continuous testing at each stage of development life cycle (integration, regression, smoke, sanity, security testing as required)
• Expected to perform manual and automation testing in validating data sources, extraction of data, applying transformation logic, and loading data into target tables
• Carry out Azure migration testing and Azure role based access testing
