Analyzes, defines, implements and executes quality and test related activities according to a given quality- and test strategy for the product area.
Creates a detailed test design incl. test system landscape requirements and product standards, prepares tests (customizing & master data), authors and executes manual and/or automated tests.
Analyzes test results (issues) and takes appropriate follow-up actions.
Is subject matter expert in the team in terms of quality assurance and test related processes, methods and tools.
Has basic product domain knowledge including relevant business processes & scenarios and a basic understanding of customer needs.
Active participation in Scrum meetings and demos.
Has proficient knowledge about relevant product and process standards, important legal requirements as well as quality assurance and test related tools.
Has basic knowledge and technical competencies of relevant programming languages and related development tools and processes
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human–computer interaction, Design, Computer Science, or other relevant fields
5-7 years of testing experience with automation tools.
Strong understanding of QA Processes; Practices & Methodologies.
Demonstrated independence, creativity and initiative and the ability to understand the company’s architecture and business goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to read and code-review complex code written by others.
Strong team player, collaboration skills & ability to work under pressure.
Experience working on cloud (on-demand) software is highly preferred.
Experience working on Integration Platform Testing is highly preferred.
Accessibility testing experience, knowledge on WCAG 2.0 AA standard is a plus.
Experience developing test cases using test automation and unit testing frameworks like jUnit and/or TestNG as well as Selenium 2.0/3.0, Katalon.
Experience on automation tools like Rational Integration Tester is preferred.
Experience using Bug Tracking, Test Case repository and Version Control Systems like Perforce and Git.
Strong Core Java knowledge is preferred.
Desired additional skills: Maven, Micro services (Angular, Spring Boot), knowledge about B2B, Supply Chain processes and functionality, SAP UI5, OData, Sybase, Cloud Platform Integration, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Groovy Script.
