The Quality Test Analyst (Test Evidence Review) is accountable to review the test results provided by the test executors. This role is responsible for ensuring that the test results includes all required test evidences and appropriate sign off prior to the move to production.
Strong Technical Experience around testing, good communication skills and SAP process experience is a must to ensure the testing results provide the proper coverage for the change being made.
Your key responsibilities
As a Quality Test Analyst,
Review the test results/evidence within the release timeline to production (inclusive of the Service Now process)
Support the releases over the week on need basis
Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot issues with the review and pursue to completion
Participate in daily calls/meetings as needed
Strong SAP functional expertise to ensure you understand the complex system of Mercury which is built on SAP
Part of your responsibilities are:
Support with the training and development of other staff members, where appropriate
Support the TER Lead if needed
Review the daily deliverables and ensure the quality
Ensure team adhere to the EY/MST testing process
Quick learner to understand the functionality of the application/systems
Communicate with various stakeholders
Work with global team
Skills and attributes for success
Experience with SAP systems is a must with as many SAP functional areas (Finance and Procurement is must) as possible
Knowledge on the SAP technical would be an advantage
Excellent knowledge and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Testing protocols
Experience of having worked on large, global IT deployment programs including preparing for go-live and supporting the immediate post go-live period
Experience of working with virtual teams
Experience of working in concurrent releases
Knowledge of stage-gate review process, entry and exit criteria
Ability to build good relationships both within one’s own team and with other teams
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
To qualify for the role you must have
Good knowledge and understanding of Software Testing Lifecycle
Experience in SAP testing
Experience of working in concurrent releases
Experience of working along with multi-location teams
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work and team effectively with clients and other management personnel across geographies
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
Ideally, you’ll also have
Minimum of 4+ years of IT related experience
Approximately 3+ years’ experience in SAP testing role
Prefer HP ALM tool usage
One or more professional certificates to supplement formal education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
Desire to have ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing or equivalent
