Position Summary: Litera is looking for a Salesforce QA Engineer, who as a critical member of the team, will be responsible for the quality assurance in our product development team by using your expertise in test plan, design, and implementation (automation). You will be crucial in our continuous improvement objectives to shift left and find and prevent defects as early as possible by improving software requirements (stories), specifications and acceptance criteria. Key Responsibilities:
Identify/resolve software inconsistencies, ambiguities, and defects before, during and after implementation.
Work with the customer success team, as needed, to triage and support critical issues.
Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
In depth functional testing – Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are being met and are “fit-for-purpose” through end to end functional and automation testing.
Work closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
Clearly communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption.
Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing and coordination of release activities.
Participate in user story creation process through dissection of high-level requirements during team review sessions.
Key Skills:
3+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance roles with automation testing experience.
QA Expert on the Force platform.
Knowledge of testing integrations, end-to-end system processes.
Passion and drive for test automation and sound engineering practice.
Experience with automation testing.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps (VSTS, TFS)
Experience in programming automated tests in Apex.
Experience with JS based projects with Aura/LWC focus.
Experience with deployment tools, build/release automation, and CI/CD
Experience with Selenium, Cucumber and other testing platforms.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
