Job Description

Essential Functions of the Job:
Create/Assist/Troubleshoot the development of Test Automation Frameworks, Standards, Procedures, Processes, and Best practices as related to Test Automation
Contribute to program/project review meetings. Support Quality Assurance Management in determining status, assessing problem areas, suggesting and reviewing corrective actions
Work with project stakeholders to determine the appropriate quality initiatives to implement during development life cycles
Take responsibility for integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinates the execution of these activities
Review requirements and specifications, and define test automated test solutions

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Expertise in Creating Web Automation Frameworks with Cypress/Selenium
Experience in Agile environment
Expertise in setting up Automation Suites in CI/CD Environment
Experience developing API automated testing solutions using RestAssured, Mocha or any related tools
Experience in designing automation strategies for UI and API automation
Experience in designing performance and load tests, testing distributed applications for performance and load
Strong programming and technical experience
Experience with mobile automation tools
Knowledge of reporting frameworks
Experience with testing big enterprise, high-traffic and multi-tier applications using MS Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience managing teams of Automation Engineers strongly preferred
Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Maintains knowledge of specific technical specialisms, provides detailed advice regarding their application and executes specialized tasks
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations under pressure
Manual Testing experience is a must.
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle including the functional and non-functional test phases
