As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:
Working with management and architects to shape test strategies to meet the business needs.
Working with Business Analysts, developers and create test plans and test cases for new requirements/change requests/projects.
Driving and execute effectively the team's roadmap. Dissect high- level requirements into quantifiable test plans and give accurate estimates.
Designing and develop and execute test suites for different types of testing. This includes database, API, integration and performance with traceability.
Identifying, evaluate and automate the possible test cases using relevant automation tools.
Designing and execute Integration testing across platforms and applications using techniques like python automation, batch processing, shell scripting etc
To be successful in this role you will:
Have B. Tech or MCA (or equally) qualified with overall 2 to 4 years of Experience in QA.
Have an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, software quality process, testing techniques, tools & methodologies
Have experience working with SQL for developing and analyzing complex queries.
Have Good experience in developing and improving test automation in Python
Have good understanding about test management and ALM tools (Ex: JIRA, Quality Centre, MTMetc.)
Have proficiency with Unix/Linux
Experience in API Testing using any of the SOAP/Rest tools Postman/SoapUI, etc.
