Senior Application Quality Engineer is responsible for validating and automating the features and functionalities that are developed for the product.
Need to understand the existing complex functionalities and new product enhancements.
Expected to achieve high quality metrics for the application and is responsible for all the quality related aspects of the application.
Should also collaborate and excel among other QAs within department.

Validate, automate, participate in regression activities during entire major & patch release cycle of an application.
Design and develop automation solutions that meet organization standards and build reliable, re-usable and maintainable automated regression.
70% of work would be Manual Testing & 30% of work would be on Automation by using Selenium and other automation tools.
Need to increase the automation percentage (specially for patch releases) so that in future can reduce manual activities.
You will make sure the dev team is delivering with high quality.
Need to provide as much as granular information to dev team to reproduce the scenarios by logging in Agile Studio.

A good understanding of the software development process.
Strong understanding of Testing Methodologies and expertise in STLC.
What You've Accomplished:
6-8 years of software testing experience including both Manual & Automation testing.
Ability to maintain test suites.
Ability to write automated tests with Java and/or automated tool.
Understanding on Non-Functional testing types like Accessibility, Localization, Security testing etc.
