Job Description
As a Senior Associate – Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework. You will be involved in the development of quality engineering test cases/suites to validate and verify delivery of system artifacts in accordance with customer needs.
Role Responsibilities
Develop and implement testing and quality engineering artifacts for new and existing software applications.
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework during the sprint.
Analyze test results to predict user behavior, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimize problems.
Gathers usage patterns and actual production transaction metrics of various applications to derive test patterns and transform them into usable tests.
Ensure that Mobile applications are implemented according to the product stakeholder needs.
Log and track system flaws using the JIRA issue tracking system.
Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams.
Work with a software development team and service providers in a geographically distributed structure.
Works independently on simple to medium complex projects
Role Requirements
4-6 years of professional software quality engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with automation and mobile/web-based application testing using Appium, Playwright, Selenium, Karate, Cucumber test tools, and different frameworks.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
Demonstrated experience in API testing using Rest Assured, SOPAUi, Postman, etc.
Experience with Test Management tools like TestRail, JIRA, ALM, etc.
Proven ability in developing test automation using Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) solutions.
Knowledge of accessing relational databases (e.g. SQL scripting)
Good experience on Mobile Apps Automation using Automation tools.
Strong understanding of Agile and Iterative development methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, analytical mind, and problem-solving attitude.
Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results.
