In this role, you would be responsible for
Identify appropriate test scenarios to drive smart testing and Support functional team with UAT testing, data staging, System integration and testing.
Identify, Write, Execute test cases in UAT (Dev) and in iTest (i.e., Staging) HP ALM.
Securing eApproval of test cases run (as evidenced by Test Run Results report).
Automating test cases in Selenium test tool as needed for test execution as required (e.g., regression test suites), provided they are added in rally as estimable User Story.
Validation of Data, API & system integrations to support UAT, Unit Tests & Automated Testing or Prod go live and associated documentation as per customer guidelines
Contribute to release notes, and other design/configuration document deliverables.
Specify necessary deployment activities for healthy code migrations.
Work with a wide variety of automated testing frameworks including: Java, Junit, Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber, etc.
Create, execute, and maintain scripts and tools for various testing frameworks (e.g. regression testing scripts)
Integrate automation components and tests with CI/CD
Design and develop automated performance and load tests suites using tools such as JMeter.
Technical tasks that are necessary to accomplish to complete the context of a user story, shall not be stood up as a stand-alone technical user story as it offers no end-user value in and of itself.
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and the ability to work in a multi-functional environment.
Optimally able to work as a team member as well as independently.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Experience in various automation frameworks.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and be proactive.
Good Knowledge and experience in UFT.
Ability to work with distributed team members including time zone flexibility
Should have Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to work in a meaningful and multifaceted environment
Must have worked on any of the standard bug reporting tool
Must have excellent analytical skill to find root cause and reproduce the issue.
Understand work you're doing/jobs, their functional requirements.
Clear Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle.
Are you experienced in Agile Methodology.
Experience with CI/CD systems and tools such as: Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, Puppet, Nexus Repository, Artifactory or equivalent.
Experience using Agile tools such as Rally or JIRA
5+years of experience of leading other QA resources
Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
Familiar with Container technologies like Kubernetes
Familiar with Cloud technologies like AWS
Familiar with test process likes QTest
Familiar with Spark
Familiar with database technologies, prefer PostgreSQL or Time Scale DB.
Able to program in SQL language
