Principal duties and responsibilities:
• Define, implement, and execute manual and automated tests.
• Actively participate in establishing project plans, estimating work, and monitoring progress against milestones
• Work closely with developers during appropriate stages of projects and participate as a scrum team member on all phases of the scrum process.
• Contributes to product and process improvements and refinement of QA best practices.
• Troubleshoot and analyze application defects.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
• Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure
• Work in different areas like Backed, UI and API testing.
Education: MSc/BSc Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Minimum years of work experience: 5+
Required Skills:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Automation.
• Good knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Java, and C#.
• Experienced with UI testing frameworks and tools (Selenium a plus)
• Experienced with API testing frameworks (Rest Assured API a plus)
• Experienced with cucumber-JVM
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of IT experience, with hands-on experience on CI/CD/CT .
• Experience testing large scale multi-tier web-based applications
• Experience writing test plans and test cases for enterprise SaaS solutions
• Strong Web Services testing experience and thorough understanding of Web Services methodologies (SOA, XML, SOAP, REST, etc.)
• Experience working on an Agile development team with rapid iterations
• Proficiency with product-relevant testing and process tools
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment and with geographically distributed teams
• Experienced with test automation frameworks and developing automated test cases
• Solid technical aptitude. Must be able to quickly establish credibility with technical community
• Solid communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues to engineers and executives. Preferred Skills:
• Agile development methodologies including SCRUM
• Experience with Development tools such as git., qTest, Azure Devops
• Familiarity with Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiarity with docker, kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-based deployments (Azure, Azure DevOps and docker a big plus).
