Responsibilities:
Take over of existing test automation suites from Maintenance team.
Backward and compatibility testing for SW and map data releases.
Maintenance, monitoring and execution of automated tests.
Root cause analysis of failed tests and report issues/take corrective actions.
Create test reports, defect troubleshooting and follow up.
Maintain test related documentation.
Requirements:
4+ years of overall professional experience in QA
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes (BDD, Gherkin etc.)
2+ years of experience in Automation Testing of Software
Programming skills: bash, a scripting language (Python, Ruby)
Deep knowledge of software testing related best practices
Well-organized, details-oriented and a strong team player
Upper-intermediate level of English
Ability to work independently with no supervision.
Nice to have:
Experience with continuous integration (preferably Jenkins) and source control systems (preferably git).
Experience with code review support systems (preferably Gerrit) is a plus.
Experience in embedded software (specially automotive related) system would be great advantage.
