Strong Communication Skills (Both written and verbal):
Should be able to interact with client stakeholders, probe a technical problem or clarify requirement specifications
Demonstrate the application functionalities
Interface with the development team and get the issues resolved
Write, design, enhance, debug and execute automated tests by creating scripts through open-source tools like Selenium, RestAssured, Postman, Karate.
Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
Collating and monitoring the defect management process
Set up Continuous Integration, preferably on Azure
Coordinate with product management and software and support engineers to deliver stable software products.
Estimate tests accurately and coordinates with team members for work activities.
Prepare software automation tracking and report project release status to stakeholders.
Skills required:
Strong analytical, design, and coding skills using programming languages, such as Java
Strong experience with DB/SQL
Strong experience in test automation frameworks like RestAssured, Postman, Karate, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber or Junit
Good understanding of continuous integration (CI) tools like Jenkins, Azure
Good understanding of source code management tools like GIT
Good understanding of the development life cycle of the software
Good aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
