3+ years of experience of testing Audio hardware/protocol like I2S, PCM, Multi-Slot PCM, SPDIF, ADC/DAC, Digital Microphones etc.
Experience in developing Automated Test Frameworks for validating embedded systems products.
Strong hands-on experience in developing automation tests using scripting languages (Python/C desired)
Should be very well versed in using IDE's for scripting, debugging and analyzing Python code
Excellent debugging and analytical skills that can be applied to isolate potential system issues.
Excellent communication skills and proven track record of working effectively in cross functional teams.
Familiar with software configuration tools, preferably Perforce
B.Tech/B.E/ Masters. – Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications:
An Audio Systems Automation Engineer would be responsible for developing and maintaining Automated Audio Validation Frameworks, Validation Scripts and Algorithms for diverse range of Wireless audio products within Qualcomm.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, deploy and debug/analyze automated test scenarios for various audio related interfaces and use-case scenarios.
Designing and deploying audio validation frameworks/test-setups with use of specialized or improvised hardware.
Develop, debug audio metrics detection and calculation algorithms.
Test Status reporting, issue triaging and classifications, trend mapping.
Developing and maintaining automated and reusable test frameworks mainly using Python.;
Experience of testing or developing Bluetooth products
Experience in using audio analysis tools like APx, Dscope etc.
