Position Overview:
Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for manual testing of Banking software on the Server (Client Server Model) and ATMs (terminal machines) as well as automation, experienced in working in Scrum / Agile teams, experienced in Product Sustenance testing.
You are responsible for
Test requirement analysis, Understanding of Product Features
Create Requirement traceability Matrix (RTM) and Map it to Acceptance criteria
Test environment planning, writing test cases, executing test cases.
Identify the Test automation candidates and Execute the automated Tests
Defining and maintaining detailed test results through the use of ALM tools
Reporting defects found during testing, participate in triage meetings and provide detailed test cases and issue report to software developers and maintained detailed issue lists per release.
Demonstrating strong interest towards quality assurance , demonstrate use of quality testing principles for banking software products
Follow Best Practices of Quality assurance
Qualifications
B.E., B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT/Electronics & Comm.)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Testing (Manual and Automation) in Software Industry, preferably in Banking or Finance domain.
Relevant experience on SOAP UI and Web APIs testing
Must have knowledge of DB SQL server and experience is writing SQL queries.
Should be familiar Client-Server model
Good Knowledge of any automation test framework (e.g. TOSCA, Selenium- optional) and experience is developing automated test cases for end to end testing.
Good understanding of Agile Methodology and DevOps practices.
Must have the relevant experience of using tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
Knowledge of basic programming skills, basics of CI/CD and willingness to work as an SDET.
Demonstrate great interpersonal, written & oral communication skills in English.
Must have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Having good team Collaboration skills and having Sense of ownership.
Critical thinker and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Good time-management skills.
