Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our high-stakes online assessment services. This position is ideal for someone passionate about testing and quality assurance, with deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to improving processes.

Responsibilities
Work within an established Agile delivery process, supporting multiple interrelated services to achieve business goals and outcomes
Drive improvements in school and learner-facing online assessment services, incorporating customer and service delivery feedback
Explore automation opportunities and collaborate with development teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable end-to-end data flows
Support business teams in minimizing administrative workload through automation and enhancing self-service capabilities
Conduct functional testing of web/mobile applications, including but not limited to new feature testing, exploratory, regression, database, accessibility, and API testing
Facilitate whiteboarding sessions and solution brainstorming workshops with customers and internal teams

Requirements
6-10 years of experience in software testing/software quality assurance
Proficiency in Agile SDLC with adaptability and interest in iterative processes
Background in requirements analysis and visual design evaluation
Capability to design and document formal test cases, with knowledge of test case design techniques
Understanding of test case prioritization, DoR, and DoD
Competency in reporting and tracking issues with attention to detail
Skills in multi-browser testing and using browser extensions
Proficiency in SQL queries
Proactive approach toward improving quality processes and team outcomes
Ability to act as a quality gatekeeper for your delivery team
Willingness for continuous self-improvement
Solid English communication skills at B2+ level or higher
