Creation of test plans, test requirements and test cases for Performance/stress/Endurance testing of application and System related requirement
Establishment of test procedures for product non-functional testing certification
Maintain and update test cases according to performance/stress test scope
Specification and execution of performance benchmarking.
Provide performance improvement recommendations
Identify performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance measures (server response time, throughput, network latency, etc.).
Test status reporting, as part of product release, or on demand certification.
Generation of bug reports, and tracking.
Supporting the development team by reproducing performance related issues.
Maintenance of test platforms to provide complete performance coverage of supported systems and configurations.
Understand and be able to write database scripts to validate Performance related test cases.
Design and write automation framework for performing penetration testing for application and system.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced QA resource with 5-6 years of experience in performance/Stress testing
Experience with Performance Benchmarking background
Must have solid working experience in Unix / Linux environment
Should have working experience in writing and executing scripts/program (C/C++/Java/perl/Shell Script) to perform performance/stress testing
Well versed with using industry leading performance/stress/longevity testing tool (preferably open source) and Monitoring tool, Jmeter experience is mandatory
Sound knowledge on protocols such as SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, FTP, TCP/IP and overall networking concepts
System and product monitoring requirements with analysis of the stats collected
Expertise in identifying root cause of performance bottlenecks and ability to provide recommendation for remediation
DESIRED SKILLS:
Working experience in API testing
Working experience in cloud environments like AWS / GCP/ Azure
Exposure to work with containerization of product or containerized products.
Working experience with Database systems (Any one of them): Postgres SQL/ SQLite/Oracle/MSSQL/Teradata
Performance tuning knowledge on one of the databases like Oracle, Teradata, SQL server, DB2 on Unix or Windows environment
Working experience in Web services testing (SOAP/REST)
Working experience with testing of multi-threaded application
Knowledge and experience with Bugzilla/ Jira and Testopia
Working experience in LDAP
Working experience for testing of product/s as software appliance
Basic Knowledge of AI / ML and where it can be used
Good knowledge in Product performance life cycle
