Responsibilities:
Ensure and help improve the quality of our software applications by applying industry quality assurance standards and best practices.
Learn and incorporate the best available Oracle and Oracle approved test and test automation technologies into the quality assurance process.
Ensure optimally performing production applications by establishing application and transaction SLAs for performance, implementing proactive application monitoring, alarming and reporting, and ensuring adherence to and measurement against defined SLAs
Identify and standardize performance engineering, testing and certification approach and success criteria including governance of performance test executions, analyzing performance test results and identifying tuning/optimization opportunities based on test results
Work with Business Analyst and Solutions Architects to drive performance throughout the project lifecycle and define non-functional requirements related to performance & capacity
Ensure products support accessibility standards
Verify, test, and help find resolutions to issues reported by customers and internally.
Write clear, concise and thorough test documents
Contribute to the resolution of defects and enhancement requests
Perform other work related responsibilities as assigned by upper management
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience as a software tester performing manual and automated tests for large-scale, enterprise-wide web applications
Minimum 8 years of experience testing scalable and highly-available applications
Minimum 8 years of experience and hands-on knowledge testing apps built with Javascript, HTML, CSS, Java, XML
Minimum 5 years of experience and hands-on knowledge testing apps built with RESTful APIs, JSON
Minimum 3 years of experience working with or testing apps deployed with Docker and Kubernetes
Minimum 3 years of experience testing apps running on cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure)
Experience with cloud IP networking, VPNs, VCNs, compute, object storage, DNS, proxy, SSH, bastion, load balancing and security lists
Experience working on Linux OSs
Ability to troubleshoot problems and analyze related logs like GC Logs, Heap dump, JStack thread dumps
Experience working with databases (Oracle) and large datasets
Hands-on experience with standard load testing tools, such as LoadRunner, JMeter
Hands on experience with runtime analysis tools like JStack, Java Mission Control, YourKit
Hands-on experience with commercial and OSS monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus
Experience following agile software development methodologies and life cycles

Desired Skills:
Experience with test automation tools for Java and JavaScript web applications

Experience testing apps using Oracle Integration Cloud
Experience testing apps integrating with Oracle Identity Cloud Service
Insurance Industry related experience is a plus
Knowledge of industry standards including GDPR, HIPPA, FHIR, HL7
Minimum Experience:
3+ Years experience with required skill set described above
Minimum Education:
4-Year degree in Computer Science or similarly disciplined field and experience
