Roles and Responsibilities:
Design Performance Test Scripts and tools for applications based on Requirements
Run and manage performance tests
Collaborate with Application teams to improve system performance
Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behaviour.
Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
Proactively notifies of impediments to commitments.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualification
4+ Years of Relevant Experience in IT Performance Testing/Engineering
Strong scripting skills with performance testing tools like load runner , JMeter etc.
Web applications and web services performance analysis, scripting and testing
Experience with database performance engineering
Understanding of JVM and GC process and its logs
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts
Troubleshooting and debugging skills
Good to Have
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Hands on experience of performance testing on any of the cloud platform will be an added advantage.
CI/CD knowledge
Knowledge on Backup application will be added advantage.
