Design and development of end-to-end automated tests in UI Automator/Robotium/Espresso/XCUITest to validate system functionality
Develop automated component tests to validate individual component behaviour
Provide automation expertise to project team and troubleshoot automation issues
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipeline and run scheduled suites
Create tools and frameworks to measure app performance for both android and iOS platforms.
Simplify and automate workflows to prevent human error and intervention
Ensure quality standards of the pushed code are up to the mark with quality pre-checks
Understand the product and work towards innovation in Tooling and Performance sphere
Build a robust reporting platform to help analyse test results and provide appropriate solutions
Qualifications:
BE/BTech or equivalent degree in technical discipline
More than 4 years of experience with mobile automation tools like Selenium/Appium/ UI Automator/Robotium/Espresso/Cucumber/XCUITest
Good programming skills and experience with object oriented languages like Java.
Hands on experience with Android Studio, XCode, git, Jenkins, jUnit/TestNG and Gradle
Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins
Good to have hands-on scripting experience with languages like Perl/Python
Basic understanding of Rest API and web technologies
Basic knowledge of backend and database operations e.g. MySQL
Performance testing exposure on mobile applications
Strong analytical and problem solving ability with focus on preventive actions
Experience or understanding of Agile development methodologies, SDLC, STLC and defect life cycle
High degree of personal integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
