Job Responsibilities:
Ensures quality of the final product by finding functional, compatibility and performance issues in the software before release.
Develops Test Plans, Test cases, Test Procedures for various types of testing such as Functional, GUI, Integration, Regression, Data Validation and overall system integration.
Implements reliable and maintainable test automation solutions to control the regression of the software using the company's test automation framework.
Continuously improves automated testing methodologies to enable QA team to maximize test coverage of the full depth of enterprise products.
Reports defects found in software and confirm issue resolution and potential side effects of changes
Leads in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents; interacts with Management, leads, and other team members in a one-to-one or one-to-many meeting format.
Analyze test results, and identify, document, and report root causes for test failures by working with the development team and the defect tracking system.
Communicates technical concepts and information to internal staff/peers and stakeholders; strong verbal, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills required.
Identifies opportunities for process, tools, and test methodology improvements, and drives those from concept to implementation.
Qualifications
Requirement:
Education level required
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering from accredited institution
Desired: Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics & Telecomm Engineering from accredited institution
Years and area of experience required
6+ years of experience in Software/firmware quality assurance, test automation
4+ years of experience with Java, C++/C# programming, Python or other scripting languages.
2+ years of experience in automation framework development
1+ years of experience in API testing.
Technical knowledge
Probed experience on tests automation tools for Desktop and Web applications (e.g. Selenium, Test Complete)
Good debugging skills.
Good understanding of testing process and terminologies.
Good experience in CI/CD Jenkins or Bamboo etc, Powershell, Batch.
Should be open to work on any tools, technology, projects as per business needs.
Should be able to work individually or as a team player as per project needs.
Must have proven track record of validating high quality products.
Certification in software testing (ISTQB or equivalent)
Probed experience in performance testing of Webservices and in the use of performance tools (e.g. JMeter, Postman)
Knowledge in power system engineering
Experience working in an Agile SCRUM development lifecycle.
Proficient understanding of Source Control software and Code Collaboration tools (Git, SVN, etc.); experience with Issue and Project Tracking software (JIRA, TFS, etc.).
Experience with system level testing
