Roles & Responsibilities:
You will help the organization identify risks early in the product development cycle with your testing and automation skills.
Analyze the business requirements and craft detailed level of test scenarios/cases and derive a test plan
Design and develop a reusable automation framework, design repeatable test data to test complex API, web-based applications that are critical to our customers
You will build a healthy relationship with all stakeholders to derive testing requirements throughout the software development cycle.
You will be a customer advocate and prove your work through better bug advocacy.
You will estimate your testing tasks and work productively with minimum supervision while showing an excellent team attitude.
You will ideate and innovate tools that improve the overall engineering process and productivity.
You will pair with developers to help them on better testing techniques including exploratory testing.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Passion for quality, coding and problem solving
Overall 5+ years experience working as a Senior QA Automation engineer or SDET
Experience in one of the programming languages such as Java, Python or Javascript
Good working experience on automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Locust, ChaiJS, etc.
Designed and developed automation frameworks using any of test runners like TestNG, Junit or Cucumber
Knowledge of CI/CD with hands-on experience in setting up a test environment
Working knowledge of using version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of security testing & performance testing will be a plus.
Well-versed knowledge across product development processes and life cycles.
Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools.
