This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer(SQA) to support the development of and directly impact the quality of TIBCO BusinessEvents® and TIBCO CloudEvents® products.
You will be part of a global world-class team developing products to support Tibco product's suite of cloud / desktop-based enterprise software.
Your primary responsibilities will be to implement tests, test strategies and automation to test next generation enterprise/cloud products currently under development and the existing products.
Duties and Responsibilities
Good knowledge of Java and Hands-on experience with any automated testing tools.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud is added plus.
Good understanding of Test Design Strategies, Software testing methodology, process and quality control.
Identification of the test requirements, test plan preparation, test case preparation/execution Experience in Developing, Create, prioritize, and organize test cases.
Good communication skills. Working knowledge of at least one UNIX platform.
Experience in defect tracking systems and test management tools. Working knowledge of at-least one database technology like Oracle or MS SQL.
Exposure to web services standards such as SOAP, WSDL and REST, JSON is an added advantage.
Excellent problem solving skills and communication skills.
Required Experience/Skills
5 to 7 years of QA/testing experience.
Engineering Degree in Computer Science or any other branch.
Experienced in testing both web/browser-based interfaces as well as APIs.
Basic understanding of how common AWS components used for compute, network, and storage works, would be an advantage.
Education
Bachelors or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline
