As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work in an Agile development environment to design, develop, automate & implement solutions for testing STB features.
Skills Required:
Bachelor/Master of engineering degree in CS, IS, ECE
Min Experience – 7+ yrs. of experience in software testing
Exposure to STB Blackbox testing or Smart TV testing, OTT apps, WebOS or Mobile testing.
Exposure to Linux, RDK stack, Android OS, Android TV, SmartTV, WebOS
Preferable experience in certification testing and exposure to hardware tools used during Blackbox/certification testing
Solid understanding of Set Top Box, Android TV framework and Google certifications and OTT apps is a must
Working experience on any of the test management tools.
Good written and oral communication skills and a good learner
Experience of basic network configuration
Primary responsibility is to certify the STB for various softwre related and hardware related certifications relevant for set top boxes.
Python programming experience is added advantage
Ability to absorb multiple requirements and provide issue analysis and good problem-solving skills.
Engineer should be well versed with test processes, test planning and test designing.
Knowledge of MPEG, IPTV & DVB Standards
Knowledge of HDMI & Dolby Standards
Knowledge of Linux Operating System
Knowledge of Any test Management Tool
Experience of Software Quality Processes & Development Lifecycles
Good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and reporting skills
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of programming languages, e.g., Perl, TCL, PYTHON
Knowledge of Automation Test Framework / Software Testing Tools
