Responsibilities:
Work with the squad leader and product teams to understand new features, develop and execute test designs, test plans and sign-off on releases
Identify the most important use cases, including important edge cases and develop automated tests as part of our end-to-end test suite
Work closely with our operations and monitoring teams to reproduce production issues in the test environment, document the bugs and work with developers to test and release the fix
Help to maintain our test environments with our engineering team, ensuring we have realistic test data to use in our day-to-day testing
Be an internal champion for continuously improving team working processes, code quality, tools & technology adoption
Flexibility and capability to work on manual or automation testing based on project requirements
Requirements:
5+ years in quality assurance engineering, including significant experience writing automated tests in Java using tools such as JUnit or TestNG
Excellent experience in Java, SQL etc.
Experience with REST API Testing, SQL Testing and experience using Postman, Swagger and other server-side testing tools.
Experience in developing end-to-end automation tests with tools such as Cypress or Selenium
You must be a great teammate, you help your peers accomplish shared goals and you care about learning, growing, helping others do the same
Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or a similar software development life cycle process
Experience with build pipeline integration using Jenkins or a similar platform
Experience in the investment management industry and an understanding of the financial planning space is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
