Responsibilities:
Candidate must possess good communication skills
Candidate is expected to build a strong understanding of fixed income markets
Candidate will be accountable for the quality of the platform/product
Candidate will perform requirements analysis, test planning, execution, automation, and reporting
Candidate is expected to work closely with stakeholders and clients to ensure great quality
Candidate should relentlessly improve testing processes
Knowledge and Experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, an ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Has a desire to do automation testing and learn scripting languages (e.g. UFT, PLSQL, Python, PowerShell, etc…)
Strong SQL scripting
Ideally has some experience of writing and executing QTP/UFT scripts
Strong understanding of Relational Database Systems (Sql Server)
Experience working in a Windows services operating environment
Comfortable working with and testing backend technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on experience with code version systems like Git
Experience in the Financial Industry is preferred
Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools (implementing or administering such tools is preferred).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, an ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities
At least 5+ years of experience in the field of Software Quality Assurance and writing automation scripts
Desired Additional Requirements:
Experience with Continuous Integration and tools like: Jenkins, Splunk.
List of PREFERRED degree(s), license(s), and/or certification(s):
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent
