As a Senior QA Engineer in the Index Management Services team, the individual will be working within a delivery team to plan and execute testing and implement solutions to support the strategic growth of the Index business.
Role Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and execute testing appropriate to software solutions that align with architecture, operational and risk processes
Collaborate with business analyst and developers to define test plans and scenarios within an agile team
Develops appropriate tools and framework to support quality assurance
Prioritises test automation through appropriate tools and scripting
Ensures high quality product through the validation and verification testing of functional and non-functional requirements
Communicates with clarity, precision, and influence, presenting complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriate
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software testing methodologies and agile based delivery
Extensive experience in planning and executing functional and non-functional testing
Proven experience in test automation through scripting and building test tools
Prior experience in SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, Linux scripts essential
Experience in programming languages, complex DB queries and CI/CD pipelines will be beneficial
Some experience of Business and Technical Analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Business / Sector expertise
Experience in financial services with an understanding of financial market data would be beneficial
