Primary Responsibilities:
Functional (System, Regression) and Performance testing of API's, web and mobile apps.
Automated REST based API testing.
Create test data and seed databases, according to the test plan specifications.
Create Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Case Design, Test data, Test Case Execution, Test Report, Traceability matrix, Log defects, Test Report Analysis.
Analyse and understand existing test coverage and test cases, identifying opportunities for redesign, replacement, reusability, and improvement in efficiency and performance.
Design and execution of performance tests (load/stress, stability, latency, endurance)
Generation and analysis of System's performance metrics, identification of hot spots, bottlenecks, tuning parameters.
Work closely with DevOps team for performance improvement.

Role: Software testing across the full software life-cycle including design, implementation, testing, operations and maintenance
Years of experience: 5 to 8
Required Skills:
At least 5+ years of related professional experience in software testing across the full software life-cycle including design, implementation, testing, operations and maintenance
Experience working in a continuous integration / continuous delivery development environment
Should have basic programming skills in either PHP, Python or Java
Working knowledge of Databases like MySQL, MongoDB
Hands-on working experience with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Familiar with Behavior-driven and/or Test-driven development is a plus
Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Self-motivated and self-driven, continuously learning, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
