Own, guide and deliver the Functional & Test Automation Charter for the team.
Very good hold on QA principles & testing methodologies.
Should have strong experience in Designing & Creating the Automation Frameworks. Lead the automation team and get the frameworks adopted and review the team deliverables on adherence to these frameworks.
Strong hands-on experience in Angular/Java Script based application testing, Web Service / API Testing / Automation, Web Automation using Playwright or similar JS/TS based other tools.
Experience with Performance Testing of APIs.
Produce documentation for improved test strategy and procedures to implement improved test processes. This includes functional, regression, performance, security, and other methodologies, and guides QA in making improved test plans
Test scenario designing, test case writing, and test case review. Should have good knowledge in manual testing with deep understanding of the product and the use cases
Required Qualifications & Skills
UG - B.Tech/B.E. OR PG – M.S. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
4 - 6 years’ experience in QA
Solid understanding and prior use of automated testing practices and software is required
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment
Must have:
Hands on experienced in manual and automation testing
Full stack application (Angular/JS based), Java based Backend API, AWS
Well versed with software engineering concepts from QA perspective and different phases/types involved
Web browser based debugging and troubleshooting
Hands on with automation using Typescript/Java script/Python and tools like Playwright
Good to have:
Experience is developing software products
Focus on attention to details and exposure to testing application from UX perspective
Discuss use cases with software developer and architect to get more clarity and raise bugs when needed
Help software developers and QA lead to ensure clean code is signed off for staging and production deployment
Worked in Agile methodology and familiar with scrum culture
