You would focus on manual and/or automated testing, test script & test plan creation, defect tracking and reporting. The QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer will be responsible for working on new and existing modules and working with key business groups like customer care, finance, and sales to test/certify end-to-end business automation/processes.
You should have around 4-7 years of experience and a good understanding of QA methodology, processes and associated automated testing tools.
Primary Skills:
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) domain knowledge
Experience testing on the Netsuite platform, or any ERP system is a must.
Knowledge of Finance Operations, Order to cash, Procure to Pay, Basic Accounting, Revenue Recognition process, Payment Gateways, Payment Methods, Sales process, JavaScript, XML.
Responsible for coordination with Developers.
Be able to analyze the requirements from the finance users and understand the business use cases.
Identify and create detailed test cases for requirements by deriving functionality from codebase and GUI.
Able to tie test cases back to the requirements for requirements traceability.
Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives.
Ability to write, maintain and execute test cases.
Troubleshoot QA and Production environment issues.
Knowledge with Functional, Regression, Integration, Performance Testing.
Familiarity with SQL.
Work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may differ from project to project.
Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Work with business partners, product engineers, sales team, and programmers to create/analyze required project documents and ensure that quality assurance processes are incorporated.
Participate in production release/handoff/implementation, verification and being accountable for validating system quality.
Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects.
Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality within Information Technology software.
Nice to Have:
Experience with testing ERP application
Experience with testing various cloud-based applications like NetSuite and Salesforce.
Experience with integrations of multiple applications
Application Data Migration Testing experience.
Test Automation with Groovy and Selenium would be a plus
