Role Overview-
As globalization senior QA engineer, he develops, document and maintains globalization and localization test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts
What You'll Do
Establish and evolve formal globalization/localization QA process, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Develop, document and maintain globalization and localization test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts
Work with product development engineers to isolate globalization & localization issues by collecting and analyzing detailed process steps, log files, and data input
Develop and automate localization processes and workflow.
Build and test language packs for TIBCO products
Who You Are
Extensive experience in software development and testing
High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
Strong knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows
In-depth understanding of Java, SQL, and XML
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Fluent in English. Additional language knowledge a plus
BS in computer science or a related field Advanced understanding of testing and engineering services
Advanced knowledge of the localization processes, Unicode and encoding
4+ years related experience.
Experience in machine translation, for example Moses, MS Translator etc is a plus
TIBCO experience a plus.
