Responsibilities:
Ensuring the overall quality of the deliverables and test sign-off will be the key responsibility
Responsible for Defining QA strategy, approach, execution, and report for the projects
Responsible for Leading and directing the QA leadership team
Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance
Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis, and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes
Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams
Work with different groups like Operations, Software Development, and Pre-Sales to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
Desirable Competencies
Must have 7-9 years of experience.
Well-versed in Agile methodology
Good understanding of the Quality Assurance Process
Should have Thorough knowledge of the E-commerce domain
Experience in end-to-end testing
Well-versed with Automation testing using Selenium Webdriver and Ruby/Java
Strong skills in analyzing requirements, test cases development, and defect tracking
Work closely with development and technical support teams to resolve quality issues
Should have hands-on experience in preparing test scenarios, test cases, automated tests, and test data and executing the same
Able to highlight the shortfalls in the current process and be able to suggest positive improvements
Good to have experience in Performance testing using Jmeter
Good Knowledge of Automated Integration testing, TestNG framework, and REST API testing
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in specific technical fields like computer science, math, or statistics preferred; or equivalent practical experience
