Role and Responsibility Brief:
Handling project technical requirements, calls and QAs.
In depth knowledge of API testing concepts and API engineering concepts.
Relevant experience in API testing.
Conduct testing/analysis reviews and technical support to team
Sound knowledge in Software development lifecycle and Software testing lifecycle.
Be part of a cross functional Scrum team that develops and supports the product.
Run manual tests and build automation test suits for regression and new features. Testing Microservices and API components, checking data in databases, automating deployment.
Be involved in new features development, provide inputs to POs and Developers on the correct behaviour of the system.
Install and Configure testing systems with latest deliveries for testing.
Supporting customers and the support groups.
Should be able to own individual features/Enhancements regarding API testing
Should be able to understand current framework used for testing and suggest enhancement or come up with new framework for testing as per customer needs
Must Have Skill
Strong Knowledge and expertise of in manual and automation testing
Knowledge of Software defined storage
Understanding of current automation scripts (Python)
Good understanding and knowledge in API Testing
Understanding of Microservices and HTTP protocols and methods.
Knowledge of one version control tool, preferably Git
Good knowledge on at least one programming language (Go preferred)
Expertise in manual testing and API testing.
Good understanding of writing test cases, test plan and test strategy document.
Good understanding of at-least one programming language (Java preferred)
Understanding of Agile Development Process, CI/CD pipeline and knowledge of cloud services providers
Good to have an experience in software defined storage domain.
Good communication, analytical skills and be proactive, ability to independently handle tasks and self-learner etc.
Nice to Have Skill
Knowledge on CI CD pipelines and build tools
Experience around Rest Assured using GO.
Docker, Kubernetes, Deployment processes.
