Experience: 3-6 years (Required Maximum experience in Manual testing and at least 2-3 projects on Automation)
Must Require:
Candidate from a project-based company and must have knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes.
Must be aware of industry-accepted best practices and make team follow them.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (Manual & Automation)
Take active participant in the project execution process.
Good communicator with team & client.
Responsibilities:
Developing test cases, implementing test plans, executing test cases and scripts, and tracking/ documenting software and product features and flaws
Participate in the test planning and product planning processes
Write clear and accurate bug reports and also compile reports for client
Perform thorough MANUAL testing – Doing full end-to-end testing and Integration testing
Perform Automated QA Testing and Performance testing, too
Analyze the critical requirements of the applications and create high-level as well as low-level scenarios with minimal guidance
Writing automated tests/script
Maintain and execute automated scripts based on manual test cases
Able to design, build, execute and monitor performance tests.
Perform load tests and stress tests on apps to simulate traffic and measure server response time, client response time, and database response time.
Testing web app load time using tools like Firebug.
Perform cross-browser-based testing
Able to identify, procure and manage environments and data required for testing
Interacting with tech leads in reviewing and understanding software requirement
specifications, Create functional specs – Understand the business need and give independent
inputs on the testing strategy for a small team
Build automation solutions for web applications, native applications, and real-time services & APIs
Worked with Automation Tools and familiarity with Scripting languages, HTML/HTML5, creating and validating XML is a plus.
Create test strategies. Design and create automated test scripts to address areas such as database impacts, complex customer interactions, negative testing, targeted fix validation, data quality, regression, customer experience/usability, and application resiliency scenarios
Work hand-in-hand with development teams to ensure that quality is “designed in” at every step and that the testing approach aligns and evolves with the solution architecture & implementation, using an agile mindset
Leverage technology (e.g. Selenium, JMeter, Jenkins, LoadRunner, UI Automator ) to drive DevOps “continuous testing” results
Provide automated test analytics, with summarizations of findings and insights for release readiness decision
