Position Overview:
Monitors overall quality in terms of correctness, completeness, functional and nonfunctional suitability, accuracy ,integrity, scalability, reliability and performance of the various components of DN products, systems and networks. Responsible for integrating applications into monitoring solutions and building and maintaining functional and/or performance test frameworks. Analyzes and conducts thorough quality assurance and quality-control tests to ensure that hardware and software operates properly, is defect-free, and meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Drives continual process improvements in the evolution of testing procedures, including development / application of automated procedures, for future replication.
You are responsible for
Review, analyze and understand product requirements.
Test case design: Write test scenarios and optimized test cases with maximum defect detection potential.
Automation of end-to-end testing and/or systems integration/automation test scripts
Execute the test cases and report the defects. Debug failed automated tests.
Support the maintenance of the regression testing suite.
Understand and follow best practices, defined processes, and tools.
Ensure timely delivery and quality of the deliverables for the assigned work.
Utilize multiple tools such as JMeter, Postman, Swagger on a regular basis for API Testing.
Development of core automation framework and automation of test cases using technologies like , MS Test, C#, Selenium etc.
Prepare and manage test environment setup for assigned scope with minimal guidance.
Peer review of automation code, test plans, test cases.
Qualifications
B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of experience in QA and QA automation preferably in Product organization
Experience with full software development life cycle, continuous integration, unit testing, and version control.
Experienced in Web application testing
Understanding of testing approaches and methodologies
DBMS: MS SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL etc.
Experience with supporting system testing/integration/deployment activities
Experience in creating, executing, and maintaining test plans for owned system modules.
Knowledge of JIRA / XRay etc. for test case & execution management
Understanding of Scrum/Agile development practices
Experience with management of test environments
Excellent communicational skills - written and oral
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with retail systems and retail domain knowledge is highly desirable
Understanding of containerization (Docker) is highly desirable
Experience with testing ReactJS / Angular frontend using Selenium / Ranorex is desirable
Experience in load and stress testing is desirable
Experience with MS Azure is desirable
Virtualization technologies: VMware, VirtualBox is desirable
