Role and Responsibilities:
Lead and drive the definition, preparation and execution of testing strategies for website developments including Unit, Functional, System Integration and User Acceptance test phases according to the defined QA Framework
Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications
Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization
Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall website quality
Manage daily/weekly progress reporting and defect tracking and resolution progress
Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
Create requirements traceability matrices and conduct reviews with business analysts and technical development staff to ensure understanding of business requirements and complete test coverage
Should be able to execute Accessibility compliance testing using any of the tools like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, etc and come up with recommendations for the fixes.
Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, global accessibility standards and ability to explain its requirements
Knowledge of Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and WAI-ARIA specifications
Communicates professionally at all levels of the organisation
Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes
Managing testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines
Mentors and provides training assistance to QA team
Qualifications
At least 3+ yrs quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments
Minimum 2+ yrs experience with automated testing tools or equivalent skills
Experience with website and web-based application testing (minimum 3+ yr)
Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, draws valid conclusions, and provides solutions
Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle
