1. Overview
We are looking for Test Automation Engg. Lead with 7+ years of experience in real-world enterprise web application and API testing
2. Role
The ideal candidate will work closely with software development teams, identifying the testing requirements of the solution; lead test automation team efficiently, must have an in-depth understanding of QA best practices, should have worked in Agile, expertise on test automation, should have a knack of programming with ability to code in Core Java, Selenium and REST ASSURED tools.

Strong skills in performing QA tasks viz. test planning, debugging, defect reporting
Good knowledge in working with Agile methodologies; Scrum.
Ensures team adherence to Quality Assurance policies, procedures and processes
Experience in Code reviews and merges
Understanding and hands on experience on In-Sprint QA
Good knowledge and ability to work with Cucumber BDD, Gherkin, Maven, TestNG.
Knowledge of tracking tools: JIRA, Zephyr and Confluence is a must.
Able to debug and investigate GitLab pipeline issues and failures for automated scripts
Good understanding of CI/CD, Git etc.
Experience in different testing strategies; functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, black box testing, Automation, UAT
Experience in Automated testing of web based software applications.
Must Have an experience on Selenium or any open source tool.
Added advantage if has knowledge on Scripting Language - Javascript
Target maximum ROI through enabling automation across projects
Hands on experience with SQL and relational databases with experience in data driven testing, setting up test data.
Understanding user requirements and identifying the testing requirements for the solution in coordination with development teams. Analyze the impact of the solution on the system as a whole and put in testing strategies to measure these.
Knowledge of industry standard best practices for Test Automation.
Identifying Root Cause Analysis and Tracking the same.
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills are a must.
May be additionally responsible for supporting solution delivery activities related to testing, including developing the test plan, managing test execution activities, reporting on test metrics, and supporting test closure activities.
Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability
Preference:
Experience of testing REST API endpoints, Web and Mobile based applications.
Sound knowledge of Test Automation toolstack viz. Gitlab, Maven, Java, TestNG, Cucumber, REST ASSURED.
Experience on Agile Scrum will be Added Advantage
