Develops, executes and maintains test plans
Reads and translates requirements into meaningful manual and automated test cases
Executes test plans and provides meaningful feedback on results
Works with Application developers to resolve issues and document bugs
Use Jira or DevOps to document issues and enhancements in the appropriate manner
Maintains a schedule of testing across multiple software applications to ensure prompt feedback to developers
Value:
Basic knowledge and understanding of SQL
Experience in DB testing and in writing simple to medium complexity SQL queries
Develops and maintains documentation for all testing activities
Assumes responsibility for the quality and compliance with standards and requirements for all Ryan applications
Alerts the Product team to potential issues in a constant feedback loop
Performs other duties as needed and assigned
Regression testing of the applications during the application release
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems is preferred or equivalent work experience. Four to six years of hands-on administration experience with Software Quality Assurance and issue documentation.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong analytical skills; strong oral and written communication skills; and excellent customer service skills and attitude. QA Certification is a plus.
