Understand software product and functional requirements
Identify software application weaknesses and target areas
Strategize and plan automated software test cases/procedures
Create automation framework for the test cases
Write automation scripts and implement software applications (both Frontend and Backend)
Troubleshooting automation test procedures
Identify quality issues and create test reports
Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas
Collaborate with the development team to solve application faults

Desired Skills & Characteristics:
Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer
Advanced programming skills including Selenium, Protractor, Appium, Cypress
Familiarity with programming script languages including JavaScript,TypeScript or Python
Hands on API testing using Postman, RestAssured or Pytest
Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
