Responsibilities:
Software Automation Tester who can work with the development team in building and executing comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, maintaining, and adding to the existing automation framework, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and Development testing.Well-rounded experience of 5-10 years in functional and automation testing. Skilled in Selenium and one programming language such as Java, Python. Hands on experience of implementing BDD framework using either Serenity or Cucumber.Sound understanding of testing principles, techniques, approaches:
Agile testing
Functional, black box, regression, sanity testing
DB validation and SQL
Automation frameworks – BDD, TestNG
Interface & system integration testing
QA metrics and KPIs
Requirement
Hands on experience of authoring basic testing artifacts such as
Test plan & strategy, Testcases, Daily status reports, Testing checklists – entry & exit criteria, environment readiness
Working knowledge of following modules of an enterprise test management tool such as HPALM, HPQC or Octane
Release management
Requirements – traceability to test cases and defects
Test planning & execution
Defect management
Good presentation skills and defect management with Business Partners.
