Responsibilities:
Should be strong in test planning, test case management and defect detection analysis
Creation and execution of test plans in Azure DevOps
Defining the appropriate test to be carried out including the test data to be used
Test current products and identifying gaps / deficiencies
Works on multiple projects to support client/customer needs
Works with distributed product development teams and product owner
Should play as an excellent collaborator with a cheerful outlook
Requirements
Must have at least 5+ years’ experience in the software testing of multi-tier client/server applications and web applications
2+ years’ experience working in an Agile software development life cycle methodology (preferably SCRUM)
Develop comprehensive test cases linked to specific business requirements covering all relevant business and system functionality
Experience in Installation, Functional, System and Data Integration testing
Hands on experience to check the data validity & integrity
Should have ability to read, write, and execute basic SQL queries
Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes for software development
Act as liaison between users and developers as required during the development cycle to ensure issues are clarified, understood and resolved
Strong debugging, and documentation skills for effective defect analysis and tracking
Hands-on experience in using Git, Azure Devops / Visual Studio
BS or MS in computer science or related technical field
Nice to Have Skills
Web services/API testing with any tool like Soap or REST client
Hands-on functional automation experience
