We are looking for a Senior quality assurance (QA) Engineer to oversee the activities of quality assurance. This position requires at least 3-5 years of experience in the Android and iOS domain. This position will be responsible for testing a component, feature, and or feature set. This position is expected to take responsibility for the quality of the software developer and drive the quality mindset in the team.
Responsibilities
Perform Functional, Non-Functional, Integration, API level, System and Regression testing on a Web/Mobile Based Product.
Responsible for test cases preparation, test execution, defect tracking, and analysis
Ability to understand the automation framework and add test cases
Write complex SQL queries to facilitate own testing and work of other QA engineer
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases.
Mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
Follow Scrum process, participate in Scrum ceremonies and follow the incremental delivery model.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with Mobile App Testing.
Experience of API Testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman.
Experience of Selenium WebDriver and Appium is preferred.
Familiarity with JIRA, GIT, SQL and databases.
Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
Understanding of security fundamentals (e.g., authentication, cryptography) is desirable.
Knowledge on BDD framework or cucumber framework.
