Principal duties and responsibilities:
Enhance/Build Test framework to support automation of UI, API on web and mobile platforms
Design and Setup CI/CD solutions for Intelligent Engagement core platform
Collaborate with feature developers, product managers and QA Leads, participate in test plans reviews and automate integration and functional test cases
Review test cases from automation standpoint and provide meaningful feedback to reduce test execution time without compromising test coverage.
Development of testing tools for test automation and support.
Co-ordinate execution of automated testing and report status.
Improve stability of tests and test environment, implement best practices and actively look for process improvement opportunities
Knowledge, skills and qualifications –
Education: Bachelor in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Minimum years of work experience: 4-7 years
Required Skills -
Coding experience on Core Java or Python
GUI Automation testing using Selenium
Automation testing for API – REST API or SOAP
Experience with standard SCM tools – Git or Perforce or SVN
Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development)
Experience with CI and Build tools like Jenkins or Bamboo, Maven or Gradle
Strong logical ability, algorithmic ability and analytical skills
Strong test planning and test design skills
Preferred Skills-
Experience with Cloud Native testing
Experience with Containerization and Orchestration technologies – Docker/Kubernetes
Automation Testing, Selenium
