Responsibilities:
Create and maintain comprehensive test plans based on use cases and customer requirements
Execute and coordinate both manual and automated tests, and report and analyze test results
Identify and document test failures and product bugs, providing thorough details and diagnostic information for proper triage
Manage, execute, and maintain automation test scripts
Help author, review and critique Python tests and other test scripts
Reproduce defects reported by our customer support and implementations teams
Participate in investigation of customer-reported problems, and validation of fixes
Perform cross-platform testing on multiple browsers, and mobile platforms
Work closely with developers, product owners, and other testers to deliver quality solutions to our customers
Identify gaps in tests and document new or updated test cases
Passionately drive software quality and advocate for improvements
Accurately track and report time against multiple projects
Use your expertise and knowledge to help drive QA best practices and process improvements
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience in a software Quality Assurance or Developer in Test role.
Strong experience with test automation, test plans, and test methodology
Experience testing web-based software solutions, both UI / frontend and backend services
Experience testing on Android and iOS mobile platforms
Strong test case management skills, iteratively creating, executing, reporting, and revising
Experience with debugging web application problems, through code review and log data
Experience with Python
Experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium with Python and Javascript, is preferred
Experience with version control systems such as Git, Gitlab or Bitbucket
Experience with defect tracking systems. Experience with Jira is preferred.
Experience with test case management systems. Experience with qTest is preferred.
Experience using web services and RESTful APIs when performing testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teaming skills
Knowledge of Accessibility compliance for web applications is preferred
Experience with SQL and Javascript are preferred
Ability to work flexible hours when necessary to meet project and customer deadlines
