Work on Functional and Automation testing related to client/server & web applications
Will be required to understand requirements, analyze story requirements, create functional/ manual test cases & scenarios.
Conduct functional testing, regression testing, SIT and UAT support
Defect tracking and coordinating with business users, BA and tech team to resolve the issues and determine defect priority, severity.
Work with Cross commit teams and co-ordinate with Vendor partners
Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release.
Responsibilities
Creating, Planning, analyzing and executing the functional and automated test cases.
Reporting test progress and results to the stakeholders/Cross commit team.
Defining the testing strategy for the applications.
Facilitate the development of tools for automated quality control.
Understand existing Automation Framework, expand the current test coverage and help automate new features in future versions.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of overall QA experience (Manual + Automation) -Understanding of different test stages (Component Testing, Acceptance Testing) & test activities (Planning, Specification, Execution)
Understanding of Test management documentations (Test Plan, Test Condition, Test Cases, Test Procedures, and Test Summary Reports).
Knowledge of any one defect/test management tool – Jira, HP ALM -Good Automation skills –Selenium + Java with the ability to manage the existing automation test suite (regression + sanity testing)
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work on the project activities independently with minimum guidance.
