Responsibilities:
• Create test cases for our test-driven-development during user story prep and grooming
• Define tests plans for both positive and negative expected outcomes
• Design and run integration tests, user acceptance tests, end-to-end tests, and regression tests
• Maintain and incrementally add to regression test suite
• Analyze bugs and errors with the aim of identifying root causes for developers
• Document bugs and errors found during tests describing clear steps to reproduce the issue
• Manual testing of new features with a focus to automate test plans much as possible over time
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
Summary
• More than 3 years of experience in manual and automated software testing
• Works together with software developers to enhance and improve software products
• Support our test-driven-development by writing test plans from user stories
• Review unit tests created by developers
• Contribute to the creation and execution of integration, end-to-end, user acceptance, and regression tests
• Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
• Document results of tests for the software development team
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
Qualifications
• Extensive experience in software development and testing
• Experience working in Scrum based Agile development cycles
• High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages (Typescript is ideal)
• In-depth understanding of Typescript and JSON
• Postman for API tests
• Front-end Software QA specialties include
• Angular, Ionic, Appium
• Back-end Software QA specialties include
• AWS services: CloudWatch logs, Lambda, IoT Core, S3, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Able to sit in front of a computer for long hours at a time
