As a Quality Engineer you will be helping our customers on Development Support level and delivering world class continuous innovation in the area of Diagnostics Agent, Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure. These are important to transfer data in the Application Operations area of SAP Solution Manager.. You will be responsible in ensuring excellent quality and maintaining high standards in message processing, customer notes, software corrections and software enhancements. In addition, you will contribute to continuous improvement of software quality, product standards and process improvements. In your day-to-day, you will:
Preparing, organizing and execution of tests and reporting test results.
Quality testing of ongoing fixes, enhancements, UAT, regression and solution validation testing.Collaborate with stake holders to test, evaluate and diagnose problems in applications and recommend possible solutions.
Periodic code scans using tools – Jenkins, Fortify, Black Duck & JLIN… sharing of scan reports and follow-ups with the teams on required fixes
Participate in central quality updates and meetings on new updates in product standards, understanding of the new rules for compliance and documentations. Roll-outs to the team and follow-up to ensure compliance, coordinate to mitigate risks involved in any of processes / delivery
Collaborate across teams to ensure test findings, defects, scan findings are communicated and resolved on time. Participate in release schedule, project progress reviews and provide technical accuracy reports to management.
Software installations, projects setup and support. Build expertise in SAP Solution Manager and help our customers to seamlessly run their systems in the landscape and to manage applications by their own.
What you bring:
7+ years of work experience B.E/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech, MCA
Experience Quality Engineer in ABAP, JAVA applications. Command line scripting know how on Unix, Windows and Java Script would be a plus
Experience in product release cycle management. Product standards knowledge and performance, accessibility testing
Should be team oriented, motivated, and reliable. Exhibit learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks and concepts.
Strong collaboration and communication skills needed to ensure high customer satisfaction and work in cross-cultural teams and across geographies
