Job Description

Quality Management (QM) for the Business Unit is responsible for implementing process, establish robust governance process and performance reporting to segment and sub segment heads for Quality, Cost and Product delivery performance parameters.

Collaborate with Central Quality team to continuously improve the Management system, benchmark and implement industry standard methodologies with-in the segment

Provide strategic leadership to quality function with a responsibility to enhance the customer experience through Quality of deliverables.
Promote and supervise facilitation and management of projects following AGILE methodology that tailor the project process to ensure compliance to Product PLM expectations
Ensures the project follows the Agile methodology and its practices by measuring the Agile specific metrics and report to management on identified business risks and issues.
Drive DevOps / Agile / Lean / Design Thinking initiatives across organization
Drive Quality Assurance and process compliance initiatives for projects within the segment
Promote and manage an effective Project Quality Status Reporting to Delivery Department in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery parameters.
Establish a robust governance process at all levels within the segment and identify and help the team to close these issues and impediments
Driving code quality, product quality, product security related initiatives
Leads an assigned quality team. Prioritizes and assigns tasks to team members and checks progress of agreed transactions and workflows.
Ensures that employees understand the consequences of not meeting customer and regulatory requirements.
Manages quality-related activities with internal and external parties involved.
Analyzes and improves a series of process steps for the respective organizational unit according to the quality strategy and respective local regulations considering agile, lean and digital methods.
Implements the specific quality programs within their organization and monitors the effectiveness of these programs.
Chips in to product safety activities.
Ensures real-time quality reporting for ad-hoc analysis, instant decision making, preventive action and continuous improvement.
Contributes to budget planning processes.
Ensures qualification and competences of the assigned team.
Acts as an escalation point of contact for quality issues.
Ensures the quality reporting.
Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA / ME / M.Tech/ Graduate from a recognized university
Total 12 Years’ experience in Quality Management / Software Development / Testing
8+ Years’ experience in Project / Quality / Test Management / Architecture / Metrics Management
Has good experience implementing Agile / Lean practices / DevOps and Design Thinking in projects
Has experience in Risk Management, Estimation & Code Quality and testing

Desired Skills:
Experience in implementation of Organization level improvement initiatives
Team management experience in Software Development Organisation
High level of client management experience and Influencing skills
Ability to define strategy for the teams to achieve business excellence
Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with various levels of management
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently on problems.
Good knowledge of Agile Methodologies, CMMI, and various ISO Standards, EHS and OHSAS
Strong written and verbal communication.
