The Role:
Define the strategic direction for software testing, quality assurance, including test automation - Analyze, define, implement and execute quality and test related activities for the team according to a given quality and test strategy defined by QPA or central teams
Own responsibility for the quality of the products - Define quality measures on team level to ensure Quality Goals and related KPIs are met.
Preparing functional Test cases based on specification and execute manual tests.
Follow up on test results, contribute to working software at the end of each sprint
Writing Automated Tests (Selenium, START, Vyper, Katalon etc.) and executing them
Work on ongoing improvements in test strategy &test approach
Role Requirements:
Strong educational qualifications (Engineering majors, MCA from reputed institutes, Masters in Quality Management is preferred) with 6-10 years of experience in software Testing/Quality Assurance/ Automation/especially in white box and functional testing
Proficient in Manual and Automated Testing, Hands–on experience in automation esp. Selenium
Experience working in a development team as quality engineer - Experience in QA processes and tools, test management systems, designing and running tests on web applications or backend systems and analyzing bugs
Functional knowledge of at least one SAP module to help the team perform the functional correctness testing
Experience in being part of a large-scale software development projects distributed across geographical locations.
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment
Strong communication and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment
